Mrs Justice Heneghan retires from High Court

The Honourable Mrs Justice Margaret Heneghan has retired as a Judge of the High Court. 

Judge Heneghan's last day of service was 2 October 2017.

President Michael D. Higgins appointed Judge Margaret Heneghan as a judge of the High court of the High Court on 10 February 2015 at a ceremony in Áras An Uachtaráin.

Judge Margaret Heneghan succeeded Judge Daniel Herbert who retired in November 2014.

Legal Aid Board

She was first called to the bar in 1993 and was a member of the Legal Aid Board January 2009 to January 2010. She was appointed as a Judge of the Circuit Court in January 2010 and assigned to the Dublin Circuit in April 2011.
