Event to celebrate one year of DisAbility Legal Network

An event on 29 November will mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December), as well as the first anniversary of the launch of the DisAbility Legal Network website.

‘The future of hybrid work: Opportunities & challenges for people with disabilities in the legal sector’ will be hosted by the DisAbility Legal Network with A&L Goodbody at 7.30am at the Clayton Hotel, Cardiff Lane, Dublin 2.

This will be a hybrid event, and can also be joined online from 8am.

The event will explore the impact of the cultural shift towards hybrid working on the lives of those in the legal sector with disabilities.

It will also explore how hybrid working can promote inclusion, and break down barriers.

Keynote speaker is Joan O'Donnell, author of ‘The future of work and disability – a remote opportunity’.

O'Donnell will then join a panel discussion moderated by Duncan Inverarity (ALG employment law group).

Panellists will include:

  • Dr Patricia McCarthy (TCD School of Education research fellow),
  • Jane Barrett, William Fry LLP associate and founder/chair of DisAbility Legal Network.

Registration is open until Wednesday, 23 November.
