Matheson opens larger office in central London

Irish law firm Matheson LLP has opened new, larger offices in central London, as it continues to expand its presence in the city.

The new offices are on the seventh floor of the Octagon Point building, beside St Paul's Cathedral and not far from Matheson's previous Love Lane address.

At 2,600 square feet, the new facilities are more than one-and-a-half times the size of Matheson's previous premises, and they include access to a separate client-meeting space of a similar size.

Recruitment continuing

Matheson's London office, headed by Sharon Daly, comprises a 15-strong team of partners, senior associates, solicitors, and trainees.

Michael Jackson (managing partner, pictured) said that the new premises would greatly improve the office experience for its London-based staff, for clients, and for visitors to London from other Matheson offices.

"We are continuing to actively recruit in the London market, and the additional space we have taken in Octagon Point reflects our desire to continue to grow our London presence, " Jackson said.
