Law Society webinar on AI in legal practice

The Law Society is offering a complimentary webinar on  ‘AI in Legal Practice – Perspectives from the Cutting Edge’

Registration is now open for the online event on Wednesday 17 July at 11am, at which expert speakers will offer their perspectives on how AI is being used in legal practice today.

Ethical issues

The ethical issues that arise for lawyers using of this technology, and what the future holds will also be probed.

Speakers include Peter McKenna, who is chair of the Law Society Technology Committee and partner in McKenna Durcan.

Also speaking is Charlie Carroll, ALG partner and head of ALG Solutions, which harnesses technology to deliver cost-effective legal solutions in complex transactional, regulatory and investigation matters.

England-and-Wales data-and-technology lawyer Dr Janis Wong will also speak about that jurisdiction’s published guidance on generative AI.

This is a complimentary event but pre-registration is required.
