New senior associates join DWF in Dublin

DWF, which provides legal and business services, has added three senior associates to its team responsible for insurance, global risks, and professional indemnity in Dublin.

The three new appointments are: Lisa O’Brien, Sarah Falvey (small picture), and Rory Dunne.

O’Brien has more than 25 years’ experience in defamation law, professional indemnity, and casualty.

Specialising in defence litigation, Falvey joins DWF with more than nine years’ experience advising leading insurers on complex insurance disputes in relation to professional-indemnity claims.

Dunne brings over eight years of experience to his new role in the global-speciality and financial-risk team at DWF. His current focus is advising on professional indemnity, particularly in the area of construction and arbitration.

Promotion

DWF has also recently promoted Neil O’Doherty, who becomes an associate within the practice, covering major injury and casualty.

O’Doherty qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and joined DWF in May 2022, specialising in insurance and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on personal-injury cases.

Chris Wheeler (acting executive partner, DWF Dublin) said that the new trio’s collective experience would enrich its practice, complemented by O'Doherty's recent promotion.
