Goods exports up €9.5 billion so far this year

Exports of goods increased by 17% in July compared with the same month last year, with a value of over €18.3 billion, CSO data shows.

Goods imports rose by €400 million in July compared with the same month in 2023.

Ireland’s exports of goods have increased by €9.5 billion to over €126 billion in the first seven months of 2024.

Imports have fallen by €5 billion in the period January to July.

Seasonally adjusted exports were valued at €17.8 billion in July – up €760 million.
