Augustus Cullen Law plans new Gorey office

One of Ireland’s oldest law firms, Augustus Cullen Law, is to open a new office on Esmonde Street in Gorey, Co Wexford, this summer.

The new office will be led by partner Eleanor McKiernan (pictured), who has been practising law in Gorey for more than 15 years, specialising in property law and commercial law.

McKiernan, who is also the vice-chair of the Law Society Conveyancing Committee, said that it meant a lot for the firm to be making “such a huge commitment” to the town.

‘Exciting plans’

One of its senior associates in litigation, Mary Ní Ghuairim, will also be a key part of the Gorey team.

Augustus Cullen Law’s managing partner Joice Carthy said that the new office would greatly enhance the firm’s footprint in the south-east region, adding that it had “further exciting plans” for the future.

Established in 1857 in Wicklow town, Augustus Cullen Law specialises in medical negligence, alongside its work in a wide range of other practice areas.
