Blackhall team through to final of negotiation contest

The Law Society hosted the qualifying rounds of the National Negotiation Competition online on Saturday (5 February).

The competition involves a team of two law students representing a party or a client and negotiating an international business transaction or the resolution of an international dispute, with an opposing team of two law students.

Environmental theme

Eight law schools from around Ireland participated preparing scenarios with an environmental theme.

The teams representing Trinity College Dublin (Lana Bader Eddin, small picture, and Raman Malashchanka) and the Law Society (Enya Levy and Kevin Barrett, main picture) qualified for the final.

This will be held at the Law Society’s campus at Blackhall Place on Tuesday (15 February).

The victorious team will represent Ireland in the international competition which will take place in Montana, USA, this summer.
