The Diploma in Corporate Law and Governance will provide members with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the law in relation to this interesting sector.

boardroom

Corporate law and governance has seen numerous changes since the introduction of the Companies Act 2014 and the recent passing of the Companies (Corporate Enforcement Authority) Act 2021.

This diploma focuses on advising directors and shareholders on their duties and obligations relating to key events in the corporate lifecycle – formation, corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency, corporate restructuring and tax issues. We introduce innovative boardroom simulation modules where students have an opportunity to gain an interactive insight into the function of the board, boardroom meetings and effective boardroom behaviour.
