The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive came into force on 5 January and is expected to transform how large companies manage sustainability matters. Richard Lee examines the legislation for the March 2023 Gazette.

The Chair of the Law Society’s Environmental and Planning Law Committee, Rachel Minch SC, invites you to the launch of this newly established committee. This hybrid event will take place on Wednesday 29 March, with the Hon. Ms Justice Nuala Butler as guest speaker.

You can now watch a recent webinar on navigating trade restrictions between Western democracies and the rest of the world. Training

Booking is now open for the In-House and Public Sector Panel Discussion 2023. Taking place on 10 May, this year's event focuses on the Social aspects of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) and its impact for in-house solicitors and the organisations/businesses they serve across the public and private sectors.
