LegalEd Talks

Since April, Law Society Finuas Skillnet has been running LegalEd Talks - an online, free hub for solicitors, hosting over 26 CPD courses with content relevant to many areas including:

• COVID-19 legal practice,
• remote working, and
• professional wellbeing

This initiative has been very popular and shown us that what we thought impossible is exactly the opposite.

Upcoming events

Over the coming months, you may expect to be attending various CPD cluster events and/ or conferences in the Law Society. We have been working tirelessly to ensure that our programme of events can continue. Whether that means postponing an event, or moving it online, we are doing our best to give you the opportunity to meet your CPD requirements in what people are calling the ‘new normal’.

The safety of attendees, staff and venue teams is our main priority, so you will see some big changes. Venues will have reduced capacity to facilitate social distancing and measures will be taken to ensure that those in attendance feel comfortable and safe. For those of you who may be cocooning, or may not feel that attending a live event is in your best interest, we will be offering many of our events online as well as face-to-face.

We will be releasing more information on registration and safety measures for events in the coming weeks, so be sure to check our list of courses for updates.
