Dignity Matters Survey email

On 6 May, Crowe Ireland (on behalf of the Law Society) issued the Dignity Matters survey to everyone on the Roll of Solicitors who has ever practised in Ireland. Many thanks to everyone who has completed the survey so far.

If you have not received your survey, we would suggest that you check both your Inbox and Junk Email / Spam folders for the email containing your personal survey link, which you should have received from deirdre.oreilly@crowe.ie

If you have not received the link for any reason, please contact Deirdre O'Reilly or Julie Breen and we will resend you an original link for completion.

Change is afoot

The findings of this survey will provide the Law Society with data which will be used to develop an evidence-based programme of action to address bullying, harassment and sexual harassment in the solicitors' profession and to support a culture of dignity, respect and inclusivity. Recommendations will be determined by an independent research study to include the Dignity Matters survey, as well as findings from the IBA ‘Us Too?’ Report. A change programme to implement the recommendations will follow upon approval by the Law Society Council.

Every experience counts

We wish to hear from everyone on the Roll of Solicitors (practising and formerly practising solicitors), including those who have not been a bystander to, or affected by, bullying or harassment. This is to ensure we establish an accurate depiction of workplace culture, positive and negative. Trainees are also invited to participate in the survey and have been signposted to the survey by the Law School.

Further information is available on the Professional Wellbeing Hub or by contacting professionalwellbeing@lawsociety.ie. You can also read about the survey on gazette.ie.
