News

  • The International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) has relaunched its European Network. The move aims to encourage connection and collaboration, following the increasing volume of restructuring and insolvency cases, particularly those with a cross-border element. Find out more
  • On foot of a request from the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has prepared a Code of Practice to give guidance on best practice to organisations and their employees on the Right to Disconnect. View the Code of Practice

  • Are you willing to mentor a colleague in 2021, or could you do with support? Applications for the 2021/22 Women in Leadership Programme, which is open to in-house solicitors, will be available online from May 2021. See details
  • This month, the Law Society is launching the Dignity Matters survey, part of an evidence-based programme of action to address bullying, harassment and sexual harassment in the solicitors' profession and to support a culture of dignity, respect and inclusivity in all legal workplaces. An independent research consultancy firm, Crowe, has been appointed to deliver this survey, covering all solicitors on the roll and trainee solicitors. Find out more
