In September 2017, the Society’s Regulation Department produced their Regulatory Guide for In-house Solicitors Employed in the Corporate and Public Sectors.

The committee has produced an updated Guide for In-house Solicitors Employed in the Corporate and Public Sectors. 

The Committee cannot provide legal advice, but rather offers guidance based on members' own practical career experiences.

In-House LinkedIn Group  

An In-House LinkedIn Group is available for solicitors working in the private or public sectors.
The LinkedIn group allows in-house solicitors to connect and network with colleagues across organisations.

To access the group, you will need to be signed in to your LinkedIn account.

European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA)

The European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) is an umbrella organisation for 22 company lawyer associations in Europe and aims to represent the common interest of European company lawyers.
The Law Society of Ireland has been affiliated to ECLA since 1998. ECLA holds General Assembly meetings twice a year. The Committee represents the Law Society at these meetings.
