Career information session

Regulatory Guide for In-House Solicitors Employed in the Corporate & Public Sectors

In September 2017, the Society’s Regulation Department produced their Regulatory Guide for In-house Solicitors Employed in the Corporate and Public Sectors.

The Practice Regulation Section of the Regulation Department will provide guidance on these matters, and can be contacted regarding queries at pc@lawsociety.ie or phone 01 879 8700.

A Guide for In-house Solicitors Employed in the Corporate and Public Sectors

The committee has produced an updated Guide for In-house Solicitors Employed in the Corporate and Public Sectors. 

The Committee cannot provide legal advice, but rather offers guidance based on members' own practical career experiences.

On 16 May 2019, the In-house and Public Sector Committee, in partnership with Law Society Finuas Skillnet, held a Panel Discussion focusing on enhancing and demonstrating value, sourcing and managing legal services. Read about the event in the July 2019 Gazette.
